We accept credit card payments (exclusively VISA / Master Card) and bank payment (only in Germany and after release by customer).
Credit card payments occur only with VISA or Master Cards. We require your credit card number, card proof number (CVV2 with Visa) as well as expiration date of the card (the card proof number is 3 digits long and is found on the signature field on the backside of the credit card, in extension of the credit card number)
The amount becomes on your credit card-bill as „GeitjeBooks Berlin / 030-38103177 “deported.
The purchase price will always be provided in EURO (€) and all payments will be executed based on EURO. The conversion into other currencies takes place through the bank or credit card company based on the valid exchange rate on that day.
A minimum amount of payment by credit card has not been set.
We store a copy of the transaction data for each customer for a time period of 6 months. These can be requested by email without a specified form. Please provide us in that case with your invoice number and the last name and first name of the purchaser .
GeitjeBooks Berlin only delivers after pre-payment. Our products are subject to proprietary ownership according to § 455 BGB until completed full payment.
Shipping takes place via German Parcel and is calculated according to current postage rates. Attention is made to the most inexpensive shipping. Other shipping means require a prior agreement. The merchandise basket on our homepage calculates the most inexpensive rate for delivery and executes this unequivocally prior to the completion of the order. Quicker deliveries require a personal agreement. Please use the information field for this purpose during the ordering process.
An invoice will be sent with every delivery. This contains all purchased products, payment information, time point of the invoice preparation and contact information.
Damaged books will be replaced without exception. It is necessary in this case that these books be sent back to us. The corresponding postage rates will be paid by GeitjeBooks Berlin.
Copies that are lost through the mail will also be replaced. In this case we need a “trace application” from the customer, which can be handed into the post office branch
Returns for other exceptions will not be guaranteed. In the event of non-acceptance by the customer upon delivery, all additional costs will be charged to the customer.
After order dispatch, you will receive a system generated order confirmation. No other form of order confirmation will follow.
Your personal data conveyed by completing the order form will be used exclusively for the processing of your order and for payment of the invoice. Providing this information to third parties is hereby excluded. The conveyed data will be coded and sent by a SSL-connection.
Processing location and place of jurisdiction for both parts is Berlin, Germany.
